“Dear Fresh Life family, my name is Tom. I’m an inmate at Montana State prison. In 2016 I was denied parole for 3 years due to the severity of my crime. I saw the parole board again last February and was denied again for 3 more years for the same reasons. Leading up to the parole hearing I suffered horrible anxiety and panic attacks. I was sure I was dying and could not get any help from medical or mental health. I went to church and prayed a lot but still the panic and anxiety was there. Some good guys in here told me about this new Fresh Life Church [in the State Prison] and I had to go. Knowing it was a video teaching I didn’t know what to expect. What I did not expect were over 100 guys clapping, cheering, shouting, and praising God. Even though it is on a screen, Fresh Life is the best church I have ever attended. I can’t wait to get out and be a part of this church. Getting to hear Levi Lusko preach every week is the absolute best thing that ever happened to this awful, horrible place. Every time I go I’m fighting back tears and not succeeding. God sent you to rescue me and many others, and I want to thank you all, but even more I want to thank God because he allowed you to come into our lives. The Holy Spirit is in this place like never before. Thank you all for the love and kindness. I will keep writing and look forward to being there in person. God bless you.”
